Thanks to the community’s unwavering patience and discussions with competition sponsors and community members over these past few months, RoboSub 2021 was held online. Click here to keep reading the announcement.

The 23rd RoboSub Competition was held online, due to the in-person event being cancelled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. In lieu of vehicle performance, teams were evaluated on a technical design report, video presentation and website. With 33 teams representing Brazil, Canada, Egypt, India, México, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States and territories.

STATUS UPDATE: While we didn’t have the opportunity to meet in person this year, we stayed engaged and shifted efforts online to highlight and reward teams’ incredible work. We ended the summer with a Virtual Awards Party to announce prizes and gear up for 2021. 

Congratulations RoboSub 2020 teams!

The 22nd RoboSub Competition took place at the NIWC Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 54 teams representing Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, India, Japan, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and the United States of America and territories.

The 21st RoboSub Competition took place at the SSC Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 47 teams representing Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Thailand and the United States of America.

The 20th RoboSub Competition took place at the SSC Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 44 teams representing Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Thailand and the United States of America and territories.

The 19th RoboSub Competition took place at the SSC Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 46 teams representing Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Thailand and the United States of America.

The 18th RoboSub Competition took place at the SSC Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 37 teams representing Canada, China, India, Japan, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey and the United States of America.

The 17th RoboSub Competition took place at the SSC Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 38 teams representing Canada, China, Egypt, Iceland, India, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey and the United States of America.

The 16th RoboSub Competition took place at the SSC Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 30 teams representing Canada, China, India, Israel, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States of America.

The 15th RoboSub Competition took place at the SSC Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 26 teams representing Canada, China, Iceland, India, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the United States of America.

The 14th RoboSub Competition took place at the SSC Pacific Pacific TRANSDEC facility in San Diego, CA. With 26 teams representing Canada, China, Iceland, India, Japan, and the United States of America.
